Currently using Splunk Enterprise 6.2.0, which version should we upgrade to for a stable experience with minimal bugs?

Hi, we currently have Splunk 6.2.0 running in our production and we want to upgrade to the next version which has minimal bugs in it. Kindly suggest which version of Splunk has been so far stable and reliable? p.s: Yes, we have quite an amount of dashboards and alerts to be configured this year.
